Jenifer Boughey considers Garmin's corporate duty to all stakeholders and target groups - from its workers to the larger fan community - as the foundation and framework for focused communication. To be effective, something must constantly be considered holistically. On every level. In every way. A communication strategy that matches Garmin's vertical integration business model flawlessly. This is precisely why the corporation selected the enthusiastic runner to occupy the newly formed Head of Corporate Communication position.

Jenifer Boughey is an expert in internal and external communications, corporate social responsibility and stakeholder management, and change management, having held numerous senior positions in global, regional, and local communications departments at EDS, Rolls-Royce plc, Fujitsu Siemens Computers, and most recently Fujitsu. The graduate Germanist and journalist's diverse expertise enabled her to give adequate impetus and find novel ideas during her first few weeks at Garmin DACH. Additionally, there is no scarcity of implementation ideas. "In our opinion, Jenifer is the right addition to the communications team since she will help us develop our brand's positioning further and elevate it via smart corporate communications," says Simone Weber, Marketing Director at Garmin. "It will strengthen our company's internal and external profile, and most importantly, it will give us a face." As a leader who is unafraid of disrupting the existing quo and represents our tagline #BeatYesterday, she will find opportunities and strengthen our communication throughout time. So we may discuss it tomorrow today. That persuaded us."

Garmin's DNA is naturally geared toward assisting people in living more active and healthy lifestyles through superior products (and the way they connect with them). Boughey wishes to expand on this by being involved in an atmosphere where values, authenticity, and emotion are central to economic success and corporate and individual responsibility. Because that is what inspires individuals to confront new obstacles daily - both professionally and personally, that is why the qualified coach and trainers wish to share more human experiences in the future. In addition, her dedication to the "Women in PR" project, which strives to expand the number and variety of women in executive roles in the public relations and communications sector, demonstrates her devotion to storytelling.

Jenifer Boughey has lived in the United Kingdom for almost a decade, including periods in Birmingham, Derby, and London. Even though she had a solid connection to her adopted home at the time, she currently lives in Munich's metropolitan region with her husband and two children.
