While the Peugeot 308 and 308 SW are already on the market as plug-in hybrids, the all-electric versions are set to debut in the middle of 2023. As a result, Peugeot will be the first European automaker to sell an all-electric hatchback. The new e-308 and e-308 station wagon electric cars are available with a brand-new electric motor that produces 115 kW (156 hp), has a torque of 260 Nm, and consumes 12.7 kWh/100 km—the lowest of any vehicle in its class.

With a 54 kWh (51 kWh for use) high-voltage battery made of 80% nickel, 10% manganese, and 10% cobalt, the new Peugeot e-308, and e-308 SW have a range of nearly 400 kilometers (WLTP).

When plugged into a public 100 kW charging station, the new Peugeot e-308 and e-308 station wagon can be quickly recharged from 20% to 80% in less than 25 minutes with the help of the vehicles' standard onboard 3-phase 11 kW charger.

Both the new Peugeot e-308 and new Peugeot e-308 SW draw inspiration for their designs from Peugeot's heritage as well as a vibrant and high-quality contemporary environment. Peugeot's new logo, a black shield with the Peugeot lion in the middle, adorns the grille, and the tall and graceful hood contributes to the flowing and distinctive design.

The Matrix LED headlights are framed by a light signature reminiscent of fangs, further emphasizing that the e-308 and e-308 SW belong to the Peugeot family.

For better aerodynamics and performance, the new Peugeot e-308 and e-308 SW are available with unique 18-inch wheels made exclusively for electric vehicles.

The new Peugeot e-308 and e-308 SW electric cars are state-of-the-art in terms of safety and technology, boasting cutting-edge features like blind spot warning (effective up to 75 meters) and Rear Traffic Alert (which helps the driver avoid collisions when backing up).

The latest iteration of Peugeot's i-Cockpit, with the brand's signature compact steering wheel, heating for said wheel, a 3-D head-up display, and a 10-inch touchscreen, is available in the new Peugeot e-308 and e-308 SW for the driver and passengers' convenience.

Launched in mid-2023, the new Peugeot e-308 electric car, and new Peugeot e-308 SW electric car will make their way to markets with Allure and GT trim equipment levels.
