The Kia Soul minivan has only been available as an electric vehicle since 2019. At the time, the current model of the Kia e-Soul, previously known as the Soul EV, was released for 33,900 euros. Since then, the model's price has increased, with the most recent increase going over 40,000 euros.

Kia raised the price of the e-Soul electric minivan to 38,090 euros in June 2022, followed a month later by another price increase: the Kia e-Soul electric minivan now starts at 40,200 euros. The large battery version costs 44,100 euros, up from 42,300 euros in June and 37,700 euros in February last year.

The Kia e-Soul electric minivan basic model now has a three-phase on-board charger, which previously cost 500 euros extra. Fast charging at public charging stations is compatible with all versions with up to 80 kW of power and should take 57 minutes to get from 0 to 80 percent storage.

The 4.2 meter-long Kia e-Soul minivan is available with a 39 kWh battery with 100 kW (136 hp) or a 64 kWh battery pack with 150 kW (204 hp). According to the WLTP standard, the little battery pack can go 276 kilometers on each charge, while the large one can travel 452 kilometers.

The Kia e-Soul electric minivan seems suitable for a family, although I wonder if the Kia EV6 GT electric car would not be more suitable for a couple.
